What’s new this year?
- Health professionals will be able to send their patients to the classes with a yoga prescription.
- The cost of the classes will be covered 100% by the healthcare centres.
- Over the course of the year, two meetings per healthcare centre will be organised to raise awareness among healthcare professionals of the health benefits of yoga and to practise a yoga session together.Â

"Yoga Therapy & Mindfulness for Chronic Pain"

Chronic pain is one of the most widespread health problems in the world. Increasingly, mindfulness and yoga therapy are being used in the treatment and management of chronic pain. A training course on this subject will be given by Raquel Chinchetru, a yoga therapist for chronic pain within the NHS in the UK.
In this course, she will share her practical and academic knowledge, enabling yoga and healthcare professionals to use yoga therapy and mindfulness with patients suffering from chronic pain. As pain is present in nearly every state of health, the insights gained from this course are applicable to a wide range of patients in addition to those suffering from chronic pain.
