Yin Yoga – Izabela

I discovered yoga in 2018 by reading a book on meditation and fell in love with yoga and its philosophy. So I decided to do my 200h yoga teacher training. What I really love about yoga is the inner journey that brings us back to our true nature. We live in a very active culture, very Yang, and even our yoga practices reflect this. There is nothing wrong with strong, dynamic practices like Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga ( I practice a lot of them), but practicing only those, in an already yang lifestyle, will tend to throw us off balance. For this aspect, we need Yin Yoga to balance our energies and feel more nourished and revitalised. Yin Yoga is a practice in which floor postures are held for a long time (3-10 minutes) and are intended to be performed without muscle activation. Yin Yoga is designed to strengthen the connective tissue, joints, tendons and fascia. Come practice Yin Yoga and meditation with me and prepare yourself for a relaxing and nourishing practice!
